Consultation Draft: Guide for Arranging Rehabilitation Assessments and Requiring Examinations

The ALA made a submission in April 2024 regarding Comcare’s Consultation Draft of the Guide for Arranging Rehabilitation Assessments and Requiring Examinations (Guide).
The ALA’s submission provides feedback to Comcare on a range of matters, including with regard to: when rehabilitation examinations should or should not be required; limitations on the frequency and number of rehabilitation examinations; and the need for the Guide to include a definition of “employee’s preferred assessor”.
ALA members also contributed a submission to an initial consultation on the development on this Guide in March 2024 at the invitation of Comcare.
ALA submission
