The Tasmanian Government has released a Discussion Paper and preliminary draft legislation to establish TasInsure, a proposed state-owned insurer (building on an expanded role for the Motor Accidents Insurance Board).
Public consultation closed on 9 January 2026, with ALA making a submission.
