Published New Guidelines - Manner & ASOHNS (Revised 2025)

The new Ministerial Manner and ASOHNS Guidelines for the assessment of compensable hearing loss in Victoria have now come into effect, following approval by the Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC, the Hon Ben Carroll MP, on 27 April 2026.
The documents are relevant to the assessment of permanent impairment arising from compensable hearing loss under Victorian workers’ compensation legislation, including work-related hearing loss claims. The revised ASOHNS Guidelines are intended to assist assessors in assessing compensable hearing loss and resulting permanent impairment, including medical assessment, audiometric testing and interpretation.
