For the first part of the webcast, orthopaedic surgeon Dr Praveen Vijaysegaran and barrister Charlotte Campbell will take you through OPT and repetitive strain injuries. Then you’ll hear from WorkCover Qld’s Matthew Bannan on WorkCover’s Employment Connect and Rehab initiatives and Sharon Stratford on It Pays to Care, an initiative founded in 2022 to promote fair and efficient injury compensation schemes.

To close out the webcast, Qld committee member and past branch president Greg Spinda will provide an update on Workers’ Compensation Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld) Reforms.
