ALA welcomes appointment of new VIC Attorney-General

The Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA) welcomes the appointment of Ms Jill Hennessy MP as the new Attorney-General in Victoria.
“On behalf of ALA members in Victoria I congratulate Ms Hennessy on this appointment,” said Mr Tom Ballantyne, ALA State President.
Ms Hennessy has a distinguished political and legal background. Prior to entering politics, Ms Hennessy worked as a solicitor specialising in personal injury and employment law.
“ALA members look forward to working with the Attorney-General in the administration of justice in our State,” said Mr Ballantyne.
“We also acknowledge and thank Martin Pakula MP for the four years that he has served in the role of Victoria’s Attorney-General.”
The Australian Lawyers Alliance is a national association of lawyers, academics, and other professionals dedicated to protecting and promoting justice, freedom and the rights of the individual.
