We have several classes of membership, depending on your profession.

*MEMBERSHIP YEAR - PRO-RATA PROVISIONS:
- The ALA membership year spans July 1 until June 30.
- If you join the ALA between July 1 and December 31, your membership will expire on June 30 of the following year and your membership fee will be calculated pro rata up to the end of the current membership year.
- If you join the ALA between January 1 and June 30, your membership will expire on June 30 of the following year and your membership fee will be calculated as the total of the pro rata fee for the current membership year plus the full fee of the following membership year.
Approval process
Once your membership application has been paid, your membership status is pending from that moment on until final approval is granted by the National Council. Once approved, you will receive a membership kit, certificate and information on our member services. If approval is declined, your membership fees will be refunded in full.
Code of conduct
Prospective and existing members of the Australian Lawyers Alliance agree to be bound by our Code of Conduct.
